July 24 - Idaho

We are trying to make it out to California in two days. Today, we got as far as Boise, Idaho.

I have to say, Southern Idaho is as boring as you would imagine it to be. Josh has been through the northern parts of the state, and says it's much prettier. I would have think so -- it can only get better. ;)

This morning, as we crossed the state line and passed through Blackfoot, Idaho, we passed a sign for The National Potato Museum. Of course we had to stop! How can you go to Idaho and not stop at the potato museum?!? Sadly, it was closed on Sundays. (I really wanted a T-shirt.) But, we did get a photo with the GIANT potato at its entry.

Priceless!

We made it to Marsing, Idaho and camped along the Snake River. The Snake has followed us since Yellowstone. It's amazing how it winds through these parts -- and is certainly how it got its name. Unfortunately, it was high/fast like it was back in Wyoming. So, no fish to be had. :(

Tomorrow, we hope to make it to California...
